Hoosier Hikers is Drifting Dunes Council's Hiking Club. Enjoy the Great Outdoors! Get fit and healthy!

Spend time with your sister Girl Scouts, family, and others! Explore Northwest Indiana's fabulous hiking trails! Come once, come twice, come as often as you want, all year long! Each month will be a new adventure at a new site. Hikes chosen are in the easy and low moderate range. We will be on trails, not blazing through brush.

Who: Brownies, Junior, Cadette, and Senior Girl Scouts, Families of all Ages.
(All non-Girl Scout children MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian)

Cost: $5.00 per participant . Each individual only pays for the first time they participate. You must sign up to attend each hike, but you only pay for the first. Cost covers: walking stick, hat, and Hoosier Hiker record book, all you will receive on your first outing. At the last hike in June, achievement-based recognitions will be presented.

Dress: Dress for the weather and wear comfortable, well-broken-in hiking shoes. No sandals or open-toed

shoes. Wear your Hoosier Hiker hat for the sun. Optional: Camera, snack, water bottle in a small back pack or fanny pack.

When: All hikers will assemble at 9:45am and conclude at it's origination point at Noon.
