The Girl Scout Cookie Sale is held in the fall and is an important program activity in Girl Scouting giving girls the opportunity to learn and practice a variety of valuable life skills, such as the following:

  • Financial skills
  • Entrepreneurial skills
  • Goal-setting and planning
  • Teamwork
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Responsibility
  • Self-reliance
  • Contributing to the good of others

Funds raised through this sale are used by Drifting Dunes Girl Scout Council to help provide girl programs, adult training for volunteers and maintain our facilities in both Lake and Porter counties.
