| Uniforms |
| Girl Scouts is a uniformed organization. Only a Girl Scout may wear the uniform. Although no girl is required to purchase a uniform in order to participate, each girl will feel more a part of Girl Scouts if she has at least the sash or vest on which to display her pins and badges. Uniforms, either the complete uniform, any component, or a Girl Scout T-shirt, may be worn on troop meeting days, troop activity days, ceremony days, and during Girl Scout special days. The Girl Scout uniform is never out of date. Old uniforms are equally as official as the new uniform designs. |

| Handbooks are also not required, but are highly recommended because they are very helpful to girls and parents. |

For your convenience the Shop, located at the Girl Scouts of Drifting Dunes Council Service Center, carries:
• Handbooks
• Uniform components
• All insignia, badges, etc., usually ordered by the troop leader
• Girl Scout gifts and novelty items (At your request, we will gladly order items from the girl scout catalog.)
