Drifting Dunes Girl Scout Council celebrated another wonderful evening of fantastic fund raising at the Fifth Annual Champagne & S’mores event held on Tuesday evening, March 13, 2007 at Gamba Ristorante in Merrillville. Benito Gamba and company put on a magnificent spread for over 100 guests who enjoyed complimentary Prosecco (Italian sparkling wine) while perusing the silent auction tables. More than $13,000 was raised to benefit Girl Scout programming in northwest Indiana! A sincere thanks goes out to the event’s committee (Miranda Malinovsky, Hyon Kwak, Kristen Harkin, Joy Robinson), sponsors, silent auction contributors and attendees who helped make the event a success!
